If, after an initial consult, you choose to instruct us, then the following approach to fees will apply, but we won’t try to sell you our services unless we genuinely believe they may be of assistance.
Unlike most firms, at Haven Lawyers, most work is quoted on a project basis which has the following advantages:
1. Clients know what the final cost of services will be. There are no surprise solicitor costs.
2. It improves communications, because clients don’t need to worry about the cost of every phone call or query they may have.
3. It allows everyone to concentrate on the job at hand instead of constantly eyeing the clock.
4. It builds trust, because clients know I’m not wasting time just to run up costs.
Of course fixed quotations only cover Haven Lawyers fees, they do not cover the costs of disbursements nor where the scope of work changes or increases.
Naturally, if a client prefers to be invoiced on the basis of an hourly rate, I am more than happy to do so.
