In order to use the Haven Lawyers website, we may require information from you in order to provide the best service possible.

Any information collected is required in order to both provide you with our services, and to maintait proper records for our business, but is not used for other purposes except as required by law, or your express consent.

Storage of Collected Information

The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card numbers) on our website, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). When Credit Card details are collected, we simply pass them on in order to be processed as required. We never permanently store complete Credit Card details. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. Access to Collected Information

If your personally identifiable information changes, you may correct or update the information upon request.

Communications

Haven lawyers may use personally identifiable information for communications to customers and other third parties as is reasonably necessary to provide our services, such as Emails, accounts information, and critical service details. However, we do not use them for indescriminate promotional purposes and only if you expressly consent to accept such material. You will be notified when your personal information is collected by any third party that is not our agent/service provider, so you can make an informed choice as to whether or not to share your information with that party.

Third Parties

Haven Lawyers may at its discretion use other third parties to provide essential services on our site or for our business processes. We may share your details as necessary for the third party to provide that service. These third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any other purpose.

Haven lawyers does not share any information with third parties for any unknown or unrelated uses.

Legal

Your sending a question to us constitutes an offer, on the terms set out in this document, for the particular price option selected and no contract is formed until we complete our answer. This may happen for several reasons, such as because we determine that we will not answer your question for the amount offered, because we are otherwise occupied with other work, or because your question falls outside our area of expertise. If we do not answer your question or determine not to proceed with supplying an answer, no contract is formed and no charge will be made.

Haven Lawyers is only licensed to practice law in NSW, and whilst Haven Lawyers is able to research and advise on legal matters pertaining to Commonwealth and other jurisdictions, it does so only on the basis that customer’s understand and (by agreeing to proceed in compliance with this agreement) acknowledge that Haven lawyers can only provide comment and advice on the law in such jurisdiction but is not able to practice in other state jurisdictions. Also, any contract formed between Haven Lawyers and you , will be deemed to have been formed in NSW and subject to NSW law only, and the exclusive jurisdiction of NSW courts and tribunals.

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Website.

Delivery Policy

Hard Copy Documents

Generally documents are provided in digital form only, however, where hard copies are required, then after ordering online, you will receive an email confirmation from eWAY containing your order details (if you have provided your email address). We will normally confirm receipt of your order within a few minutes of ordering. We will attempt to send your goods via regular post within 5 to 10 working days after the order for delivery; however if documents require customisation by us, then delivery may take a few days longer. If you wish to query a delivery please contact us.

It is the customers responsibility to ensure both that their email address provided is correct and that emails from us are not blocked, or discarded, by your email software or any other software or hardware issue within your control. pre-athorised charges will be confirmed once your question or requested services are completed, regardless of whether you actually receive the answers or not, although we will resend answers or completed work if you bring any such issue to our attention within a reasonable period.

Digitial documents and answers to online posted questions.

After ordering online, you will receive an email confirmation from eWAY containing your order details (if you have provided your email address). We will normally confirm receipt of your order within a few minutes of ordering. We will attempt to send your digital documentation or answers to online posted questions within quoted time frames, and generally within 2 business days of your question, though if we are particularly busy or considerable research or drafting work is required, it may take a little longer, though typically we will advise you of this once we become aware of any likely delay. Refund & Returns Policy

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your answer or our services, please contact us. If we have provided incorrect information or documentation which contains substantial errors because of some failure of care on our part, then you will be provided with a refund or correction as appropriate.

Minor typographical or spelling errors in documents or answers to online posted questions will not generally entitle a customer to a refund, however, we will naturally address any errors of this sort and provide you with a revised copy or document as soon as is reasonably possible.

Errors which arise because of inadequate or incorrect information provided to us by you or your agents, will however, require a further fee to address or correct. To avoid such issues please ensure that you provide complete and accurate information when applying for our services.

Disappointment that the answers to online posted questions do not resolve your problems, or that our answers include a recommendation that you seek further information or advice from other lawyers or other service providers does not normally entitle a customer to a refund.

Please ensure you bring any errors or problems with our products or services to our attention as soon as possible so they can be attended to in a timely fashion and in order to minimise any consequences.
